"TOO WHITE"
What do you make of the news that two of Britain's most dangerous terrorists have been moved to different prisons after complaining their fellow inmates were "too white"?
Dhiren Barot and Omar Khyam asked to be transferred from high-security Frankland prison near Durham. Barot masterminded a radioactive bomb plot involving limousines packed with nails and explosives and Khyam plotted to blow up Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. They said they were at risk from other inmates - who are predominantly white - and claimed the environment was "dangerous" to ethnic minority prisoners.
This smacks of the craven spirit of dhimmitude that unfortunately permeates our Prison system. Had these guys succeeded, dozens if not hundreds of innocent people could have died. They have been found guilty under due process and must serve their time. In my view they are a danger to this country and should never be released. But for THEM to be deciding the skin colour of their fellow-inmates is an outrage, and those who facilitated their requests should be sacked. Terrorists should not be calling the shots when we have them where they belong. behind bars.

Put them in solitary confinement. That should answer there problems about being too close to white prisoners.
What would be thae chances of the opposite complaint from a white prisoner being entertained by the authorities?

No need to wait until you're banged up for reactionary crimes. We know already what happens when you say there too many blacks and asians about.
I figured the UK's government response would be to install tanning machines in the prisons.

There was a genuine case here a few weeks ago of a prisoner who was due to make a court appearance to hear new charges but refused to leave his cell as it was 'the best one' and he thought someone else would claim it while he was at court. Despite the fact thet he was legally obliged to attend court, his lawyer argued it would be a breach of his 'human rights' to make him leave his comfy cell and prisom officers obliged by refusing to take him to the police van. The judge had to postpone the hearing.
Colm: That has all the makings of a tragic comedy. A judge with any stones would have sent marshals to get him and held the prison officials in contempt of Court.
That is so depressing that I'll have to watch Rev. Manning's deranged video that Patty posted so I can start laughing again. I noted in a comment that he's a classic fraud whose PhD seems self-created, but so long as he is attacking a Democrat Patty will support him.
I must have watched too many reruns of Porridge because I genuinely believed there were no black prisoners in British jails. I thought we left that sort of thing to the Americans.
