Weird. I'd object to any mandatory obervance of any religion in a state run school. Studying cultures and religion is one thing, emulating them is quite another.

Just imagine if the school decided to have a jewish day. The outcry from the usual suspects would be deafening, and no doubt sympathetically reported on BBC.

What is it with the term 'Asians' as applied to muslims. The great majority of 'Asians' are NOT muslims. The term 'Asians' is used by the leftist MSM to cover the fact that the perps of rape and murder are muslims - that's all. It is fact that 'Asians' who are not muslims have a lower rate of criminality than white Britons.

As for dressing up as muslims, anyone who wants to experience it in full should head off to Pakistan to find out.

Even though white Britons have a higher crime rate tha non-Muslim Asians in the U.K., I for one would protest any effort to deport the white Britons from the U.K. They should be afforded an opportunity to adopt to the more law abidding customs of their non-Muslim Asian compatriots.

Indeed mahons, and the reason why non-muslims have lower crime rates is that they are not adherents of a sick, violent creed which hates non-believers - kufr.

On the post, we've had a few foolish schools here do the exact same thing. It's utter nonsense. A bunch of muckyheaded liberals feel the need to have us experience something viscerally to attain some much needed empathy for a non-existent problem.

I would love to have the numbers on how many mosques have been attacked by suicide bombers in the West or how many muslims have been murdered in the West by non-muslims because of their religion or culture.

There's no breakdown of the figures for Christians in prison but by adding those for Anglican and Catholic we get 56%, well below the average for the population as a whole. By adding the figures for other Asian religions in the population we get the figure of 1.9%. They are also therefore under represented in the prison statistics. As is evident Muslims are highly over represented. Attempting to put this down to any form of racism isn't borne out by the much lower numbers of other Asians of non Muslim religions. It is unlikely to have changed much over recent years. If anything it is highly likely that the percentage of Muslims in prison has gone up. It is therefore fair to say that Muslims have a higher crime rate, even more so when compared to other 'Asian' religions.

GA's response above spared me the bother of educating Colm. Note also that the number of muslims in French jails greatly exceeds even their numerical proportion of the population.

What to deduce: as GA states and as I implied, the cause cannot be race otherwise Hindus and Sikhs (other 'Asians') would be jailed at similar rates per 1000. It can only be the culture, and muslim culture is not fit to be let loose in civilised society.

The muslim rape wave across Europe is well documented and in the UK it has been reported since the early 90s the grooming of young girls ages around thirteen years. carried out by muslim men to supply older muslim men.But maybe this only happens in the north of England?
Why not try a long weekend stay there's quite a few areas to choose from, excuse me i won't accompany you i'm not allowed to enter no go areas! muslims beat up on an old man in his late 70s from which he died, they have no problem with younger folk.
An old guy that had no idea that in his own country some areas are no longer places where indigenous Brits can walk without getting beaten to a pulp.
